TANYA ALTMANN STRENGTHENS THE TOP MANAGEMENT OF THE ŠKODA TRANSPORTATION GROUP
Pilsen, 3 May 2021 - Škoda Transportation and PPF Group are strengthening in the field of mobility, and since May they have been creating a new business unit led by Tanya Altmann. She is expanding the TOP management team of the Škoda Transportation group in the newly created position of Senior Vice President for Bus Mobility Solutions. This position will primarily focus on expanding the bus sales line within the group and in connection with its sister company Temsa (a Turkish bus manufacturer of which 50% is owned by PPF IndustryCo). Together with Daniel Dietmar Schambach, she will also lead Škoda Transportation Deutschland GmbH, where they will both hold the position of Managing Director.

I believe that our new colleague will be able to take advantage of synergies with sister company Temsa and implement new technologies, such as LNG in our vehicle portfolio, and further advance the development of green technologies such as hydrogen," says Petr Brzezina, President and Chairman of the Board of Škoda Transportation.
Tanya Altman will take up the new position on 1 May and, in addition to the position of Senior Vice President for Bus Mobility Solutions, she will also be the second CEO of Škoda Transportation Deutschland GmbH within the group. The portfolio, which will be managed within her position, will include wheeled vehicles with all types of drives - from electric, LNG and hydrogen, to conventional diesel. In her role she will also offer system solutions with the appropriate infrastructure.
Tanya Altmann is an experienced manager who has held various positions in the rolling stock, aerospace and power industries, such for Airbus Military, Alstom Transport or GE Power Conversion, and she is Board Director for Future Mobility at Elire MG. Her extensive experience in leading P&L, operations, service, transformation and change management, as well as strong, strategic and analytical skills, will help her strategically strengthen Škoda Transportation's role in the fast-growing industry.
